Biography

Helena Maria Johansson graduated with a degree in social work in 1987 and has worked in various fields related to addiction treatment, outreach work, and child welfare. Her research interests include youth, gender, family, and social services interventions, particularly focusing on the education and professionalization of social workers. Johanasson has been engaged in several research projects, exploring issues like intervention strategies, the significance of male role models, and preventive youth work. She has extensive teaching experience at various educational levels, overseeing master's thesis courses and qualitative methods in doctoral education.
