Currently working on a monograph, tentatively called Transforming Social Contracts (OUP), which presents a new Kantian theory of justice and freedom that creates appropriate space for diverse, embodied, social natures and difficult histories. It brings to the fore questions, reflections, and ideas central to conversations within the philosophical tradition. The work aims to articulate an ideal non-ideal political theory that captures necessary insights into patterns of injustice within societies and offers a unified alternative framework to help envision and build civil institutions. This book strives to bridge the divides between philosophical practice and continental and analytic traditions, as well as between ideal and non-ideal theories. Transforming Social Contracts builds on concepts introduced in her earlier work, Sex, Love, Gender: Kantian Theory (OUP 2020), which provides a holistic Kantian philosophical analysis of key moral issues relating to sex, love, and gender. Throughout her tenure, she has published numerous articles addressing Kant’s practical philosophy, legal-political philosophy, feminist philosophy, applied ethics, and moral psychology.
