Dr. Heloise Robinson

Biography

Heloise Robinson is a Singer Fellow in Law at Exeter College, Oxford, and a member of the Oxford Faculty of Law. She completed her DPhil at Oxford, focusing on medical law and ethics, with a particular emphasis on disability issues within the realm of law and ethics. Before joining Exeter, Heloise worked at several colleges in Oxford, notably as a Stipendiary Lecturer in Law at Wadham College and Oriel College. Her academic interests encompass various areas of law, and she has taught subjects including Medical Law and Ethics, Tort, Jurisprudence, Contract Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and Administrative Law. Prior to embarking on her academic career, Heloise qualified as a barrister and solicitor in Ontario, Canada, where she practiced law for several years after studying at McGill University in Canada. Her research interests primarily lie in the domains of medical law and ethics, jurisprudence, tort law, contract law, constitutional law, criminal law, and administrative law.
