Biography

Heng Pan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2009. His research career includes a focus on additive manufacturing, dry electrode manufacturing, and laser-based micro/nano-manufacturing. Pan has contributed significantly to the integration of multi-materials for multifunctional applications and has explored laser-material interactions as well as transport phenomena in manufacturing processes.
