Biography

Henrik C. Pedersen received his M.Sc. degree in electro-mechanical system design from Aalborg University in 2002 and his Ph.D. from the same institution in 2007. He became an Assistant Professor in 2006, an Associate Professor in 2009, and was promoted to Professor in 2016. He is currently the Head of the Mechatronic Systems section within the Department of Energy, focusing on research and education in the field of mechatronics. His expertise relates to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in addressing issues related to energy, production, and optimization. His work significantly contributes to these global initiatives.
