Biography

Henrike Rees is an Assistant Professor in the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. She has extensive experience in breast pathology and serves as the inaugural lead for the Breast Pathology Service in Saskatoon. Dr. Rees completed her undergraduate education at the Westfäehlische Wilhelms Universität in Münster, Germany, followed by an internship at Regina General Hospital in Saskatchewan. She underwent her residency in Anatomical Pathology at the University of Saskatchewan and completed her fellowship at Vancouver General Hospital. She initially worked as a pathologist at the Royal University Hospital beginning in October 1999 and has also been involved with the Saskatoon City Hospital since then. Her research interests include workload measurement pathology, quality assurance in pathology, global health education, and planetary health.
