Henry W. Lin joined Princeton’s Department of Physics as an Assistant Professor in January 2026. He holds an A.B. in Physics and Mathematics from Harvard (2017) and a Ph.D. in Physics from Princeton University (2022). He is currently completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University. Lin’s research focuses on understanding the interior of black holes and quantum gravity. He approaches these complex problems from multiple angles, employing low-dimensional holography and novel numerical techniques to address strongly coupled quantum systems with numerous degrees of freedom.
