Biography

Henry Siu is a Professor at the Vancouver School of Economics and a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His research primarily focuses on macroeconomics, analyzing the business cycle and the effects of macroeconomic forces on the labor market. He has held visiting researcher positions at various Federal Reserve Banks, including those in Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Louis, as well as the Reserve Bank of Australia and the Bank of Canada. In recognition of his contributions to macroeconomic research, he received the inaugural Bank of Canada Governor’s Award. Siu earned his PhD from Northwestern University.
