Biography

Henry Yu is a Professor in the Department of History at the University of British Columbia, where he has dedicated his career to exploring trans-Pacific migrations and the historical experiences of Asian Canadians. He received his Ph.D. from Princeton University in 1995, and since then, he has been actively involved in research and advocacy related to race, colonialism, and immigration history in Canada.
