Biography

Professor Herbert Deppe's current research focuses on improving the long-term outcomes of dental implants and finding new techniques for bone tissue induction. In 2004, he became a professor of dental surgery and implantology at TUM's Klinikum rechts der Isar. He has been a member of the scientific advisory board for the German Society of Laser Dentistry since 2002 and has held various advisory roles in the dental field, including a position on the Audit Committee for Oral Surgery at the Bavarian Regional Dental Chamber. In 2006, Professor Deppe was recognized as a European specialist in implantology and has received multiple awards for his research in dental implantology.
