Biography

Herman van der Kooij is a full professor and the chair of Biomechatronics Rehabilitation Technology at the University of Twente, where he is also the chairman of the Robotics Centre. His research focuses on human movement control through experimental techniques, computer simulations, biomechanics, neural circuits (neuromechanics), mechatronic design, and rehabilitation technologies including wearable robots.
