Biography

Hermann Ammer is a Professor of Clinical Pharmacology at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. He attained his doctorate at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 1989 and completed his habilitation in Pharmacology and Toxicology in 1999. In 2002, he was appointed to a professorship in Clinical Pharmacology, and by 2005, he served as the interim head of the Institute of Pharmacology, Toxicology, and Pharmacy. His research focuses on the basic principles of chronic drug effects, receptor pharmacology, signal transduction, and clinical veterinary pharmacology.
