Hesham ElSawy is an Associate Professor at the School of Computing, Queen’s University. He holds a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, MB, obtained in 2014. He has also received the Early Career Researcher Award at KFUPM for the year 2020/2021. In addition to his research, he is a senior member of the IEEE and serves as an associate editor for the IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications and IEEE Communications Letters.
