Biography

Hesham Youssef completed his medical education and anesthesia residency at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. After relocating to Canada, he further completed an anesthesia residency at Western University. Dr. Youssef has also completed fellowship training at Western University in cardiac anesthesia, transplant anesthesia, and thoracic vascular anesthesia. His research interests focus on the use of transesophageal echocardiography in liver transplant and vascular surgeries. Additionally, he is interested in pain management within thoracic surgery.
