Dr. Hilary Jericho

Biography

Hilary Jericho is a Clinical Associate Professor in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Stanford University and the Inaugural Medical Director of the Celiac Disease Program at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. With a balanced focus on innovative research and patient-centered clinical care, she specializes in the diagnosis and management of celiac disease. Raised in a physician family in New London, CT, Dr. Jericho completed an eight-year combined degree program in Liberal Medical Education at Brown University, graduating in 2006. She then underwent a pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Pittsburgh and a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital, culminating in a Master's in Clinical Investigation from Northwestern University. Her academic journey includes significant appointments at the University of Chicago, where she held various roles, including Director of Pediatric Clinical Research and Co-Director of the Pediatric Endoscopy Program. Dr. Jericho is actively involved in professional societies, contributing to the advancement of clinical guidelines and research in her field. Her impactful work has led to numerous awards and recognition in pediatric celiac research, making her a noted expert in international forums.
