Dr. Hina Aslam

Biography

Hina Aslam joined the Australian National University (ANU) College of Law in December 2022 as an Andre Hoffmann Fellow with a focus on Circular Economy Policy and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. She has a strong educational background with a doctorate in Ecology from the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a master's degree in Environmental Engineering Sciences from the Beijing Institute of Technology. Hina’s research management experience spans various regions including South Asia and the Asia Pacific, and she has successfully delivered research-based programs in areas such as climate change policy, renewable energy policy, and sustainable development. She has worked with reputable organizations on research projects related to energy, environment, and climate change. Hina is known for her understanding of regulations related to the circular economy, supplier responsibility, and waste management. She has developed critical briefing papers on circularity metrics in collaboration with the University of Cambridge. Hina speaks regularly at global conferences and is an active contributor to working groups in her field. Her commitment to fostering innovation and sustainability continues to influence the global community.
