Biography

Hiroaki Kaido is an Associate Professor specializing in Econometric Theory, Microeconometrics, and Empirical Finance. His theoretical research focuses on methodological issues surrounding identification inference analysis in partially identified economic models. He develops robust, computationally attractive inference methods in various settings. Prior to joining Boston University, he received his Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego, where he developed his expertise in econometric methodology and its application to real-world economic data. His work is characterized by a strong focus on the empirical implications of econometric theories and advancing the field through innovative approaches to econometric analysis.
