Dr. Hise Gibson

Biography

Hise O. Gibson is a Senior Lecturer at Harvard Business School, specializing in Technology Operations Management and engaged in the development of MBA students through various courses and global immersion programs. His research primarily focuses on innovations in technology operations management, inclusive leadership strategies, and effective organizational management during crises. Professor Gibson holds multiple degrees, including an MS in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Harvard Business School, showcasing his extensive expertise in operational strategy and systems thinking. With over 25 years of military experience, he serves as a retired Colonel, having held significant command and staff positions in the U.S. Army, including the prestigious 82nd Airborne Division. His military service is distinguished by receiving accolades such as the Bronze Star Medal for leadership in combat zones. After retiring in 2021, he contributed to the academic community as a professor at the United States Military Academy, actively participating in leadership development and operational effectiveness initiatives.
