Biography

Ho Ching Iu received his BEng(Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Hong Kong in 1997 and his PhD in Electronic Information Engineering from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2000. He briefly worked as a research fellow at the Department of Electronic and Information Engineering at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and in 2002, he joined the School of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering at the University of Western Australia as a Lecturer, where he currently serves as a Professor. His research interests encompass Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, Nonlinear Dynamics, Chaos Theory, Current Sensing Techniques, and Memristive Systems. Iu has published over 100 academic papers in these areas and serves as an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications and the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society. Iu is also the Co-Editor of the journal Control and Chaos: Nonlinear Circuits and Systems, published by World Scientific. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
