Biography

Holli Temple is a Clinical Associate Professor in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Texas at Austin. She has extensive experience in pharmacy practice, having worked at North Austin Medical Center from 1995 to 2011, where she focused on implementing and managing Clinical Pharmacy Services. Dr. Temple served as the Inpatient Coordinator for Advanced Health Outcomes Pharmacy Practice Experiences in the Austin/Temple/Waco region and has been actively involved in student preceptorship since 2000. She has authored contributions to ASHP’s PharmPrep, specifically the Renal Disorders chapter, and continues her role as section editor. Her educational background includes a B.S. in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 1992, a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Texas in 1994, and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Texas in 1999. Holli has received multiple awards for her contributions to pharmacy practice, including the 2004 Caregiver of the Year award from North Austin Medical Center and the 2002 Wm. Arlyn Kloesel Outstanding Preceptor Award.
