Dr. Hollis Day

Biography

Hollis Day, MD, MS, MHPE, is an Associate Professor at the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine at Boston University, specialized in geriatrics. She serves as the Chief of Geriatrics at Boston Medical Center and has a notable academic background, including a medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, a master's degree in Anatomy from the University of Maryland, and a master's degree in Health Professions Education from the University of Illinois, Chicago. Dr. Day completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and fellowships in General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests focus on integrating geriatrics into the internal medicine curriculum, as well as faculty development and interprofessional communication. At the Boston University School of Medicine, she also leads efforts in interdisciplinary team teaching and cognitive assessments for geriatric patients. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Geriatrics Society and the Society of General Internal Medicine.
