Dr. Hossein Hashemi Doulabi

Biography

Hossein Hashemi Doulabi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Concordia University. He completed his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering at Polytechnique Montreal in 2017, where he specialized in operations research. Dr. Hashemi Doulabi has a strong academic background, having undertaken a postdoctoral fellowship at the Georgia Institute of Technology's ISYE Department. His research focuses on optimization problems in healthcare, particularly under uncertainty. He has contributed to the fields of large-scale optimization, stochastic programming, and integer programming, developing advanced algorithms for real-world applications. Dr. Hashemi Doulabi is passionate about mentoring students and actively seeks out motivated PhD and Master’s students to join his research group, emphasizing the importance of programming skills, particularly in C. His prolific publication record includes numerous articles in prominent journals and presentations at international conferences, solidifying his reputation as a leading researcher in his field.
