Hossein Hashemi is a Professor and the Ming Hsieh Faculty Fellow at the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Southern California. Dr. Hashemi is also a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Abtum Inc., focusing on commercializing radiofrequency frontend components, which was successfully acquired in 2018. He has received recognition for his contributions to engineering education and research throughout his career. His primary research areas include Radio Frequency, Microwave, and Millimeter-Wave Integrated Circuits and Systems, as well as Photonic Integrated Circuits and Systems.
