Biography

Hoyoung Jung is a Medical Student Trainee at the University of British Columbia, focusing on the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences within the Faculty of Medicine. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Cell, Anatomical, and Physiological Sciences from UBC. His research interests include neuroscience and immunology, with current projects centered around optical coherence tomography and ophthalmic imaging. He is also involved in the Eye Care Centre research excellence cluster at VGH. Outside of his academic pursuits, Hoyoung enjoys playing guitar, soccer, and exploring Vancouver's diverse cuisines.
