Dr. Hua Md

Biography

Dr. Hua is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Her academic background includes a Master of Science from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, completed in 2015. Dr. Hua has undergone residency and fellowship training at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. Her research focuses on the intersection of geriatric critical care and palliative care, aiming to enhance the quality of end-of-life care for elderly patients. The overarching goal of her research program is to improve geriatric critical care delivery by conducting mixed methods studies that perform population-level analyses of outcomes. These studies elucidate the behaviors that underlie clinical practice patterns. She holds board certifications relevant to her fields of expertise and is affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
