Biography

Huajie Yi is a Teaching Fellow at the University of Southampton in the School of Electronics and Computer Science. He specializes in Power Assets Condition Monitoring and Assessment Management, as well as Power Assets Data Analysis. Huajie obtained his Master's and Bachelor’s degrees from the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation at Wuhan University and completed his PhD in Electrical Engineering at Glasgow Caledonian University with a full scholarship. His PhD research focused on projects sponsored by the Scottish Power Energy Network. After his PhD, he continued his research funded by the Singapore Power Group at Nanyang Technological University from 2021 to 2023. Huajie is a member of the Electric Power Engineering (EPE) group and the IEEE and IET organizations. He has accepted applications for PhD students, indicating his engagement in mentoring and developing new researchers in the field.
