Dr. Huapeng Wu

Biography

Dr. Huapeng Wu is a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Windsor, specializing in cryptography and security. His research interests include public key cryptography techniques such as elliptic curve cryptosystems, RSA, and NTRU. He also focuses on efficient computations in finite field polynomial rings and the development of cryptographic computations resistant to cyber-physical attacks. Dr. Wu has made significant contributions in wireless security, IoT security, and cloud computing security, publishing numerous influential papers in these fields. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a member of the Professional Engineers Ontario. His notable publications include works on low power design for digital circuits and high-speed architectures for multiplication using reordered normal bases, demonstrating advancements in VLSI design. Dr. Wu has received recognition for his innovative approaches and has published several significant papers, affirming his prominent role in advancing research in electrical and computer engineering.
