Dr. Huaqun Guo

Biography

Huaqun Guo is an Associate Professor at the Singapore Institute of Technology, with a strong background in Infocomm Technology. She earned her PhD from the National University of Singapore. Her research interests revolve around critical areas such as Network Security, Operational Technology Security, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, ISO/IEC 27001 Security Risk Analysis, Blockchain, and Vehicular Networks and Security Communications. Dr. Guo has received multiple accolades including the IEEE Region 10 Women Engineering Volunteer Award in 2012 and the A*STAR Borderless Award. She is a recognized professional in her field, holding various certifications such as the Professional Certificate in Blockchain for Business from The Linux Foundation. Her prior experiences include roles as a Cybersecurity Technical Senior Manager, Senior Scientist, and Senior System Engineer. Dr. Guo is actively involved in IEEE and holds senior memberships as well as leadership positions within various IEEE societies. She has played a significant role in promoting technology and engineering initiatives, especially in the context of women in engineering.
