Biography

Hugo M. Kehr is a Professor of Psychology at the Technical University of Munich. His research interests include the effects of goals and unconscious motives, self-regulation functions, overcoming fears, and the impact of visions on leadership styles. He earned his doctorate from the Institute of Psychology at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in 1997 and habilitated in 2000. He has held prestigious fellowships, including a Humboldt Fellowship at UC Berkeley and has received the Heisenberg Fellowship in 2002. With extensive experience, he held appointments at Fribourg, IESE Barcelona, and was a Chairholder at Macquarie University in Sydney from 2004 to 2006. He has published four monographs and numerous articles in renowned journals, and in 2008 organized the Munich Symposium on Motivation, attracting top international researchers. Currently, he serves as the Program Director for the Master in Management at TU Munich.
