Biography

Hugues Azérad specializes in comparative literature, modernisms, romanticism, aesthetics, and postcolonial theory. He is the author of "L'Univers constellé de Proust, Joyce et Faulkner: le concept d'épiphanie dans l'esthétique du modernisme" (Lang, 2002) and has published articles in numerous journals such as "French Studies" and "Modern Language Review." He is currently researching a book on Édouard Glissant that examines politics and aesthetics in literary theory, alongside various projects related to Caribbean modernisms and visual culture.
