Biography

Huihua Li is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at Duke University. He completed a Thoracic & Surgical Pathology Fellowship at the University of Chicago in 2023 and holds certifications in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology from the American Board of Pathology. His residency training was completed at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2018 to 2022. Huihua obtained his Ph.D. from Central South University, Xiangya School of Medicine in China and also earned his M.D. from the University of South China. His research interests include lung neuroendocrine neoplasms, and he has been awarded a grant by the Lung Cancer Initiative in North Carolina for 2024-2025. Additionally, Huihua is actively involved in professional activities such as presenting on topics related to complicated pneumoconiosis and mesothelial tumors at various seminars and educational programs. He is licensed by the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners and the North Carolina Medical Board, having joined the faculty at Duke University recently.
