Professor Dr. Hun Millard

Biography

Hun Millard, MD, is the Vice Chief of Psychiatry Behavioral Health at Yale New Haven Health System and serves as the Deputy Chair of Psychiatry. He also holds the position of Medical Director at the Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital, where he contributes significantly to the field of psychiatry. Millard is recognized for his academic role as an Associate Professor in Psychiatry and has played a pivotal role in various committees focusing on medical education and anti-racism initiatives within the department. His educational background includes Child & Adolescent Psychiatry from the Yale School of Medicine and Adult Psychiatry from Dartmouth College of Medicine, complemented by his MD from Howard University College of Medicine. Millard's research interests encompass children's mental health, particularly focusing on the intersection of psychiatry and emotional regulation therapies.
