Hung Cao is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of New Brunswick. He is a founding member and director of the Analytics Lab (AELab), a multidisciplinary research group focused on critical thinking, excellence, and innovation to foster future digital transformation and solve societal challenges. He holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from University College Dublin, Ireland, and a B.Eng. in Computer Engineering from VNUHCM-University of Information Technology, Vietnam. Before his current position, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow Data Scientist at the People Motion Lab at UNB, developing analytics frameworks for diverse IoT applications. He is currently involved as an Associate Editor for several journals and serves as a technical committee member for various conferences, emphasizing his active participation in the academic community.
