Biography

Hung Pham is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at York University since January 2023. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, Canada in September 2022, under the supervision of Prof. Lin Tan and Prof. Yaoliang Yu. His research interests include software testing, automatic program repair, software engineering, and machine learning. Before joining York University, he worked as a lecturer at the Telecommunications Institute of Technology in Vietnam from 2011 to 2014. He also holds an M.Sc. in Evolutionary Adaptive Systems from the University of Sussex, UK, and a B.Eng in Computing from Imperial College, UK. In the industry, he gained experience as a research intern at Microsoft Research in 2021, working alongside Ben Zorn, and as a developer at Calypso Technology from 2009 to 2011.
