Biography

Hussein Sadkhan completed medical school at Al Mustansiriyiah University in Iraq and became a certified anesthesiologist in 2005 after completing a four-year anesthesia residency training. In 2011, he received a postgraduate diploma in regional anesthesia and analgesia from Montpellier University, France. With over 10 years of anesthesia experience, he has worked as a clinical fellow in the Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University. He has completed a one-year fellowship in transplant anesthesia and has significant experience in acute pain management. Dr. Sadkhan's research interests focus on procedure-specific pain management and anesthesia quality improvement, and he has presented research posters at both national and international conferences. Currently, he is pursuing a Master's degree in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety.
