Biography

Huub Maas obtained his Master of Science degree in 1999 and Ph.D. in 2003, cum laude, in Human Movement Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His work aims to unravel complex interactions for improved understanding and treatment of motor recovery post-stroke, examining interhemispheric interactions and neuromechanics in low back pain, as well as investigating muscle architecture and stretching protocols for joint mobility. He has authored or co-authored approximately 100 papers in international scientific journals, collaborating with various notable academics from prestigious institutions.
