Biography

Huzeyfe Demirtas is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University, working with Embedded EthiCS. His primary research interests focus on moral responsibility, free ethics concerning artificial intelligence, and applied ethics with a particular emphasis on environmental ethics. He also explores topics related to metaphysics and causation. Originally from Turkey, Huzeyfe is a dual citizen of Turkey and the United States. Before joining Harvard, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Smith Institute for Political Economy and Philosophy at Chapman University.
