Dr. Hyun Jung Lee

Biography

Hyun-Jung Lee is an Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour at the London School of Economics. She holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology from Seoul National University and a PhD from the London School of Economics. Dr. Lee's extensive travel experience across various cultures—including destinations like Siberia, Mongolia, and East Africa—has significantly influenced her research perspective in cross-cultural management. Her academic interests encompass cosmopolitanism, acculturation, inclusion and exclusion, and intercultural relations. In addition to her academic work, Dr. Lee has a background in history and fine arts, studied at the Royal Academy of Arts, and engages in music by playing piano and classical guitar. She writes opera reviews as a freelance journalist. Dr. Lee is involved with the Academy of International Business and the Academy of Management and has been recognized for her contributions to research in her field. Prior to her role at LSE, she served as an Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour at KAIST Business School in South Korea.
