Biography

Hyun-Jung Lee is an Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology from Seoul National University and a PhD from LSE. Her extensive travel experience across various regions including Siberia, Mongolia, China, and East Africa has significantly influenced her research perspective in cross-cultural management. In addition to her academic pursuits, Lee has a background in History of Western Fine Arts from the Royal Academy of Arts and is also a musician, playing both the piano and classical guitar. She regularly contributes to the arts through her work as a freelance journalist, writing opera reviews. Her research interests encompass cosmopolitanism, acculturation, migration, inclusion and exclusion, and intercultural relations. A member of the Academy of International Business and the Academy of Management, she has been actively engaged in research and corporate education, focusing on cross-cultural challenges. Previously, she served as an Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour at KAIST Business School in South Korea.
