Biography

Hyunyoung Lee is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University. She obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Texas A&M University in 2001. Her academic journey includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from Boston University and both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ewha University. This includes analyzing the design of algorithms for problems in wireless communication systems and sensor networks, as well as spatiotemporal algorithms in mobile computing. Furthermore, she develops practical attack models for defense systems in unreliable computing environments, specifically addressing Byzantine faults and distributed server resilience against denial of service attacks.
