Biography

Iain Suthers is based at the Sydney Institute of Marine Science, collaborating with Sydney-based universities and state and federal agencies. He previously held the inaugural chair of the NSW Integrated Marine Observing System from 2007 to 2012. His primary research interests focus on the impacts of warming waters in southeastern Australia, particularly the acceleration of the East Australian Current.
