Biography

Ian C. Bourg is an Associate Professor at Princeton Materials Institute and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Princeton University. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Environmental Engineering from the University of California-Berkeley, awarded in 2004, and a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Applied Sciences in France, both obtained in 1999. He investigates the dynamics at liquid water interfaces, the coupling of geochemistry with geomechanics, and the fluxes within porous media areas.
