Ian Haines is a practicing medical oncologist affiliated with the Melbourne Oncology Group and Cabrini Hospital as an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at Monash University. He has also served as an Honorary Visiting Medical Officer in the Medical Oncology Unit at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. Haines is known for providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cancer care, actively participating in research and teaching, and collaborating with a network of professional colleagues. He emphasizes high standards of treatment, focusing on both curing cancer and prolonging patients' overall survival with an aim to enhance their quality of life.
