Idra Novey is a novelist, poet, and translator known for her acclaimed works of fiction and poetry. Her novel *Take* was recognized as a Notable Book in 2023 and was a finalist for the 2024 Joyce Carol Oates Prize as well as longlisted for the 2024 Dublin Literary Prize. Novey teaches courses in creative writing, including Introductory Fiction and Advanced Fiction, at the Lewis Center for the Arts.
