Biography

Ignacio Aravena González is a Fellow at the London School of Economics, focusing on Real Estate Economics and Finance. Over the past decade, Ignacio has worked as an independent consultant engaged in applied research and teaching in the fields of real estate economics and finance, housing policy, and land use regulation. His current research investigates the impacts of land use policies on affordable housing production and population dynamics in metropolitan areas, while also studying the effects of Chilean social unrest on real estate markets. Ignacio is proficient in R Studio, Python, Stata, ArcGIS, and QGIS.
