Igor Wigman obtained his PhD from Tel-Aviv University in 2006 under the supervision of Zeev Rudnick. Following his doctorate, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the CRM in Montreal from 2006 to 2009, and subsequently worked at KTH Stockholm until 2010. In 2010, he joined Cardiff University as a lecturer in Pure Mathematics. In September 2012, he moved to King's College London where he initially continued as a lecturer in Number Theory, later promoted to Reader in 2014 and then to Professor in 2018. His research interests lie in Analytic Number Theory, particularly in the geometry of numbers, counting problems, and equidistribution. He also investigates the interplay between probability theory and stochastic processes, especially in the context of mathematical physics, quantum chaos, and spectral geometry. His publication record includes numerous contributions to peer-reviewed journals, discussing topics such as eigenvalue clustering and nodal lines in random fields.
Requirements are consistent across King's Business School and Social Science & Public Policy departments for standard Master's entries.
