Dr. Ikjot Saini

Biography

Ikjot Saini is an Assistant Professor at the University of Windsor's School of Computer Science. He earned his Ph.D. in 2020 from the University of Windsor, focusing on cybersecurity and vehicular networks. His research interests primarily include Connected Autonomous Vehicles, Vehicular Networks (V2V, V2I, V2X), Network Simulation, Blockchain, and Edge Computing. Saini is involved in several professional affiliations, including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) and serves as Co-Director at the SHIELD Automotive Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence. He also chairs the Women Cybersecurity Ontario Affiliate Cybersecurity Committee and holds an academic director position in the Automotive Security Research Group. Saini has contributed to various academic works, reflecting his expertise in secure identity management in vehicular ad-hoc networks using blockchain and identifying vulnerabilities in pseudonym changing schemes in VANET. His dedication to the field is proven by his participation in international conferences and workshops, exemplifying his commitment to advancing knowledge in automotive cybersecurity.
