Dr. Ilan Rosenberg

Biography

Ilan Rosenberg is an adjunct professor of law at Penn Carey Law, where he focuses on complex international commercial litigation and arbitration. With over twenty years of experience, Mr. Rosenberg has prosecuted and defended claims on behalf of foreign and domestic corporations in both federal and state courts, as well as arbitration in the United States and Mexico. He has first-chaired trials and arbitrations resulting in multi-million dollar verdicts and awards for his clients, and has successfully achieved hundreds of settlements for both plaintiffs and defendants. His experience includes handling breach of contract cases, commercial tort actions, product liability, international catastrophic aviation matters, consumer class actions, insurance coverage disputes, and civil rights claims at both trial court and appellate levels. Additionally, Mr. Rosenberg is recognized as an expert in Mexican law within federal and state courts in the United States. He has represented parties as amici curiae in state and federal appellate courts and has extensive experience briefing and arguing commercial, insurance coverage, and civil rights constitutional appeals between the United States and Mexico. A native of Mexico City, Mr. Rosenberg holds a law degree from Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico, as well as Master of Laws and Master of Comparative Law degrees from Penn Carey Law.
