Iliana Sosa is an Austin-based filmmaker raised by Mexican immigrant parents in El Paso, Texas. Her work has been showcased at prestigious festivals and museums such as SXSW, Full Frame, Camden, and the Museum of the Moving Image in New York City. Sosa is also recognized in Filmmaker Magazine's '25 New Faces of Independent Film' in 2020 and DOC NYC's '40 Under 40' in 2021. She is a member of the Directors Guild of America.
