Biography

Ilias Kyriopoulos is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), as well as the Programme Co-Director for the Executive MSc in Economics, Policy, and Management. Prior to joining the faculty, he worked as a Fellow Research Associate at LSE and as a Health Economist at the Athens School of Public Health. His research encompasses policy impacts of economic uncertainty on population health and health systems, with particular interests in health inequalities, health economics, mental health, and well-being. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with international organizations including the European Commission, OECD, UNDP, and the World Bank. His work has been published in various reputable journals in economics and social science, as well as health policy and epidemiology. Ilias holds a PhD in Health Economics and Policy from LSE and has been recognized as an Onassis Foundation Scholar. He teaches courses related to health econometrics and economic evaluation in low- and middle-income countries.
